BlackRock was in need of a cohesive visual system. Their website, printed materials, event signage, and digital assets lacked unity and looked like they came from different companies. We designed a flexible system utilizing a white framing device, black and white photography, and a suite of custom illustrations. The layered illustrations connote growth, dynamism and transparency. The system was developed in tandem with new guidelines to maintain a consistent look and feel across all of BlackRock’s materials.
